MTI Records Positive Performance in the First Half of 2025

PT Multi Terminal Indonesia (MTI), a subsidiary of Pelindo Solusi Logistik, posted strong performance in the first half of 2025. This achievement was driven by the company’s freight forwarding services, which exceeded targets by 7.4%, and Container Freight Station (CCDC) yard services, which surpassed targets by 1.5%. The growth was largely supported by operational improvements across MTI’s business areas in Semarang, Surabaya, and Ambon.

MTI’s Corporate Secretary, Cahyo, explained that the improved performance was primarily driven by logistics handling at MTI Regional 2 Semarang for commodities such as asphalt, plastic resin, and battery raw materials. In particular, MTI has been providing logistics services for battery raw materials—one of the key components in electric vehicle (EV) production—transported from Tanjung Emas Port to the Kendal industrial zone. Furthermore, CCDC yard services at MTI branches in Semarang, Surabaya, and Ambon also recorded growth in line with increasing container handling activities at the Container Terminal.

At the same time, MTI’s Pontianak Branch under Regional 2 also contributed to the positive trend, not only through CCDC activities at Dwikora Port but also at Kijing Port in Mempawah. At Kijing, MTI provides logistics services for commodities such as fertilizers, fertilizer raw materials, and alumina, both inbound and outbound.

MTI Regional 1 Jakarta likewise posted a positive contribution, recording 6.7% growth compared to the same period last year. This was supported by increased activity at the ex-Perca and 225x CCDC yards, as well as the Integrated Container Inspection Center (ICIC) in the Common Area. “Overall, in the first half of 2025, MTI recorded positive performance across Logistics Regionals 1, 2, and 3,” Cahyo added.

“We continue to improve by enhancing service quality for customers, standardizing operations, and upgrading facilities and equipment. We are optimistic that MTI will achieve its 2025 performance targets as set by our shareholders. Moving forward, we aim to strengthen customer trust and become a leading choice for reliable logistics solutions,” Cahyo concluded.
